Litho printing, checked at every stage.

Litho is still the best way to print longer runs with exact, consistent colour. We handle the whole job under one roof, from checking your files to plating, printing and finishing, so nothing gets lost between suppliers.

What we produce

Anything that needs exact colour, a specific stock or a run long enough to make litho the better value.

  • Brochures and catalogues
  • Annual reports and accounts
  • Corporate identity and stationery
  • Letterheads and envelopes
  • Newsletters and magazines
  • Presentation folders
  • Posters and mailshots
  • Invitations
  • NCR sets
  • Thermographic printing
  • Watermarking

Proofs you can trust

Our pre-press team checks every file before it goes near a plate, flagging anything that could cause problems. You then get a Fogra certified contract proof that accurately shows how the finished litho print will look.

Once printed, your job goes straight to our finishing department for cutting, folding, binding, laminating, foiling or embossing. It never leaves our hands.

Litho or digital?

You do not need to decide. Tell us the job and we will recommend the right one. As a rough guide:

Choose litho for

  • Runs of a few hundred copies or more
  • Pantone spot colours and exact brand matching
  • Specialist stocks, heavy boards and envelopes
  • Watermarking, thermo printing and NCR sets

Choose digital for

  • Short runs and one-offs
  • Very tight deadlines
  • Personalised items and variable data
  • Advance copies before a main litho run

Common questions

When should I choose litho over digital?

Litho usually works out cheaper per copy on longer runs, typically a few hundred copies upwards. It also gives you Pantone spot colours, a wider range of stocks and the most consistent colour across a long run. For short runs or tight deadlines, digital is often the better choice. We will tell you which suits your job.

Can I see a proof before the job is printed?

Yes. We are Fogra certified, so our contract proofs accurately show how the finished litho print will look. Each proof carries a measured media wedge and a sticker confirming it passed the ISO test.

Do you check my artwork?

Every file goes through our in-house pre-press team. We check it before plating and flag anything that could cause problems, such as low resolution images, missing bleed or colour issues.

Do you deliver?

Delivery is free within Central London. You can also collect from our unit at Royal Arsenal, Woolwich.

Is litho printing environmentally friendly?

We use mainly vegetable-based inks and FSC, PEFC or recycled stocks. Waste ink is handled by an Environment Agency registered company and all waste paper is recycled.
